My Experience in TEYL

Hello, long time no see!
Welcome back, with me!!!!

So, for my first blog in this semester, I've got my first assignment from the subject "Teaching English to Young Learners",  I have to make some blog to share my experience in teaching young learners.
First of all, I never have experience teaching English for young learners, besides my own little sister and then it's not my routine too, it's kinda rarely I teach my lil' sister. So, I think I don't really have much experience with that.
And also, I just feel like, I can't really teach young learners. I thought that "When I try to teach the young learners, it must be feeling so awkwardly", it because I don't know how to teach the young learners properly, like the right ways, method, or approach. But actually, I want to learn more about that 😊
And based on the article what I've done read before, there are some tips that should be prepared to help us when teaching the young learners;
  1. Make Connections with Students
  2. Create a Positive Learning Environment
  3. Get Students Moving
  4. Change Activities Often
  5. Mix Up Groups
  6. Discipline Consistently
  7. Create Routines
  8. Have Patience
So, I hope this semester in TEYL class, can help me to improve my skill in teaching to young learners, I'll try to do my best too😁
Thank you for visiting my blog, see you :-)
